Shelterlife initiative is a community-based non-profit, non-religious, non-political and non-governmental organization (NGO) set up in 2010 with the sole aim of making life in the society better by proffering solutions to social, environmental and health challenges. The organization commenced operation on the 22nd March, 2011, and it is registered with Nasarawa State Government and Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). The organization began operation with two member staff and has grown over the years to 34 presently.
